Porta Nova Hotel is located Tavira, the cultural capital of the Algarve. Porta Nova Hotel is just 500 metres from the resort centre and 3 km from the beach where you can relax and soak up the sun. All rooms are tastefully decorated and offer comfortable accommodation. This hotel is ideal for couples and families looking to relax and enjoy what Tavira has to offer during your stay. Getting to the hotel: Porta Nova Hotel is 37 km from Faro Airport. Local tips: Porta Nova Hotel is in a privileged position only 200 metres from the River Gilao, 3 km from the sea and the paradise island that is Tavira. A 5 minute walk will take you to the historic centre of the town as well as bars, shops, restaurants, nightlife and entertainment. There are restaurants and bars on both sides of the river which are easily reached by crossing the roman bridge. There is even an Irish pub and an Indian Restaurant. Please note that the hotel have its own an internal procedure at Check in and will ask for the guests Credit Card details. FACILITIES: Food, drink and entertainment: The Tabira Restaurant offers a delicious selection of national and international cuisine. A rich and tasty breakfast is also served each day. There is a pool bar that serves snacks and beverages throughout the day and 2 bars within the hotel. Please note all inclusive facilities are available from check-in time to check-out time only (12am). Sports, games and activities: Outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre with indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, billiards and a games room. The hotel offers a good base for any golf lovers out there as there are several courses within easy reach. For the kids: Separate children's swimming pool (children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult).
